Meet Karabo Qhobosheane – a property professional with a deep understanding of the market

Hi! I’m a property practitioner for the CSi Property Group, specialising in helping people find their ideal property in Vorna Valley, Midrand.

What makes you stand out in the real estate industry?

It has been over 15 years since I sold my first property as a new intern. After that, I decided to further my knowledge and enrolled at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology to pursue a Diploma in Real Estate, which I completed in three years. My success in the industry, and what sets me apart, stems from my ability to educate myself and understand the market I’m working in. Whether it’s a small home for a starter family or a multi-million-rand property, my attention to detail is impeccable. My ability to communicate honestly and transparently, and to build worthwhile relationships, also sets me apart.

Tell us about the area you specialise in and what you love about it.

As a rental and sales professional, I’m flexible about where I work. I can easily adapt to any area I assign myself to.

Currently I’m actively involved with renting out newly built apartments in Vorna Valley, Midrand, as part of a lovely, hardworking team of ladies. This is a new security complex in the heart of Midrand, close to the famous Mall of Africa. It attracts a young and vibey calibre of professionals who are starting out in the professional world.

I’m also actively involved with the sales at the complex and surrounding areas – from Soweto to Centurion. Wherever there’s an opportunity, you’ll find me!

What are your secrets for helping people buy, sell or rent property?

For sellers and landlords, I strive to be their trusted advisor from the first engagement. From advising about pricing and taking professional photos to explaining all offers in simple terms and handing over keys, I’m always present and available.

When it comes to working with buyers and tenants, I am always a transparent and open communicator. I arrange viewings, complete offers and negotiate prices to get them the best possible deals.

What advice would you give somebody looking to buy a property in Midrand?

Midrand is an excellent, growing area to invest in and live in. Midway between Pretoria and Johannesburg, you have easy access to both major metropolitans in Gauteng. With a great network of public transport, including the Gautrain, getting around is bliss.
