Themba Hadebe Candidate Property Practitioner

My name is Themba Hadebe, and I was born on September 11, 1985. As the fourth of eight children, I learned early on about resilience and adaptability. Although my parents are no longer with us, their legacy lives on through the values they instilled in me. I'm grateful for the family I've built, including my three beautiful children - twin girls who bring double the joy and a handsome boy who keeps me on my toes.

Growing up in the vibrant but tough streets of Alexandra township, I learned to be resourceful and determined. My education at local schools helped shape my foundation, and a pivotal moment came when I was chosen to attend an outreach program at St Mary's in grade 7. There, I discovered my passion for business and entrepreneurship through hands-on activities like photo enlargement, card-making, and chocolate-making. These skills not only empowered me but also allowed me to contribute financially to my family during a time when resources were scarce and my mother was the sole breadwinner.
After matriculating, I pursued a national certificate in Insurance (NQF level 3) to equip myself with specialized knowledge. I then worked with various companies, including PG Glass as a claims administrator and SFS in the debtors' department. However, the COVID-19 pandemic brought unforeseen challenges, and SFS unfortunately went into liquidation. This setback turned out to be an opportunity in disguise, prompting me to tap into my entrepreneurial spirit. I ventured into the automotive industry, starting a new chapter as a car salesperson.

As a salesman, I've learned that building strong relationships with customers is key. I've come to realize that being a good listener is crucial in understanding their needs and preferences. By taking the time to comprehend their requirements, I can offer tailored advice and solutions that meet their expectations. This approach has not only helped me build trust with my customers but also enabled me to provide value-driven services that foster long-term relationships.

Life has thrown a lot of curve balls and challenges my way, but my faith in God and hard work have helped me overcome many of these obstacles. My life story is one of overcoming adversity and achieving immense success. Every day is a struggle to better one's life, and I've come to appreciate the wisdom in the words, "Surviving is winning!" This mindset has been my driving force, pushing me to persevere and thrive despite the odds.
