At 38, I am a committed and forward-thinking professional currently serving as the General Manager of Harcourts Maritz. I am driven by a deep passion for the real estate industry and a clear mission: to empower, train, support, and motivate real estate agents to reach their full potential. My vision is to make a meaningful and lasting impact—both within the industry and in the careers of the property professionals and staff I work alongside.

Born and raised in the Free State, my real estate journey began a decade ago when my family and I relocated to Centurion. I initially entered the property sector as a Financial Manager for a rental agency before joining a prominent development company, where I focused on rental administration. It was during this time that I discovered my true calling: helping people succeed through training, guidance, and motivation. This realization prompted me to pursue and complete a real estate certification, equipping me with the essential knowledge and skills needed to advance in the field.

In 2020, I joined the esteemed Harcourts Maritz team—an industry leader known for its professionalism, integrity, and exceptional client service.

As General Manager, I oversee all operational aspects of the agency, including sales, marketing, client relations, compliance, and strategic planning. I have played a key role in strengthening the company’s operational foundation, expanding its portfolio, and implementing innovative systems and marketing strategies that uphold Harcourts Maritz’s reputation for excellence.

A defining aspect of my career is my dedication to agent development. I have designed and implemented comprehensive in-house training programs that equip our agents with the knowledge, skills, and confidence required to excel in a competitive marketplace.

My leadership style is best described as supportive, motivational, and example-driven. I believe strongly in the potential of every agent and administrative team member, and I strive to unlock that potential through consistent mentorship, clear guidance, and an unwavering commitment to their growth.

In recognition of this commitment to people-centered leadership, I was honoured to receive the People First Award at Harcourts South Africa’s National Conference in May 2025—a significant acknowledgement of one of Harcourts’ core principles and a value I embody in my everyday work.
