Lisa Wedderburn-Clarke Candidate Property Practitioner

Having called Cape Town’s Far South home for 33 years, Lisa Wedderburn-Clarke has a deep appreciation for the area, its natural beauty and the unique lifestyle it offers. It’s more than just the place she lives — it’s a community she feels connected to and a part of the world she is passionate about.

Lisa’s love for property began early. As the daughter of an architect, she developed a fascination with homes, spaces and the potential that lies within a property. Over the years, she has built two homes from the ground up, renovated three from top to bottom, and bought and sold six properties in the Far South. This first-hand experience has given her a practical understanding of property, an eye for potential and an appreciation for what makes a house a home.

Her diverse professional background brings another valuable dimension to her work. With a marketing education and years of experience in event management, project management and client liaison within the advertising industry, Lisa has developed strong organisational, communication and relationship-building skills. She understands the importance of listening, managing the details and guiding a process from beginning to end.

For Lisa, property is ultimately about people. It’s about understanding their needs, recognising possibilities and helping them make informed decisions about one of life’s most important investments.

When she’s not immersed in property, Lisa is likely to be found enjoying the outdoors, walking on the beach with her three dogs or spending time with family. Her son and two grandsons live in the UK, and she treasures her regular visits to see them.

With her local knowledge, hands-on property experience and genuine love for the Far South, Lisa brings a personal perspective to property — one rooted in the belief that a home is more than bricks and mortar. It’s where life happens, memories are made and a sense of belonging begins.
